Old Photos
Day 2 of "The Crafter's Devotional" was to reuse an old photograph....however....the vintage photo that I've selected is now a work in progress....an art piece if you will so I can't actually show it to you...but I will so stay tuned.
Instead, today I opened a photo album. I came across it while desperately trying to figure out how to "up load" a photo....I apparently needed a photo album first....wow...was that obvious...no laughing....I'm entertaining applause only....lest I need remind you that I am most assuredly of looow technological intellect.
Since I can't show you my vintage photograph master piece in the making I opted to up loaded, (I am so proud of myself), photographs from the end of last summer, technically these qualify as old photos...as they are almost a year old and in "techno time" THAT's OLD....These will have to suffice until my vintage art photo is finished at which point I will be sharing it here with you.
I think one of the things I love about the 365 Day Creative Devotional book is that there are no ridged rules...not that there is anyone around to make you follow them....but Barbara Call in here intro "Breaking Crafter's Block", states that the book is not really about following step by step directions (though you could I mean the option is there)...nor is it about adhering to some stringent guidelines....it's meant to do just what it is doing for me so far...be INSPIRATIONAL....
I must say at this point that I do not know Barbara R. Call...nor was I hired to plug her book...the book was, well, fated to me. So it was my fate to blog my way thru this book....it couldn't have come at a better time...Thanks Barbara
Blessings & Joy,
Alexia
P.S. (don't forget to stop by and check out my photo album!)
